About Bruce Finkelstein
I have been on the Southern Calif. handicapping scene for nearly 25 years. In that time I have hosted live seminars, both on track, at satellite facilities and at various Las Vegas casinos. I have been a regular contributor on Horse Racing radio shows both in So. Calif. and around the country.
I specialize in the visual aspect of the game; watching endless video tapes, assessing noteworthy trips, overall performance and trouble. I also generate my own speed figures, keep a daily bias report and am keenly aware of the prospective pace of the race.
I have branched out in recent years, scanning the country for plays in Kentucky, Florida, New York, etc.
I strongly emphasize return on investment and value. Short priced favorites are not my cup of tea. I also believe in affordable exotic and multi-race wager plays. I take an overall serious approach to money management.
